Pinot Noir, Andover Estates - 2014

Whole foods and I have become great Happy Hour friends over the past few months. Each time I go I try and search for something new to try, which is not very hard since they have a huge wine selection. If you know you like wine from a particular region its fun to try different varietals. I really like wine from Paso Robles, Monterey, and various France regions. When I am trying to pick a bottle from the grocery store I steer towards wines in these regions.

I think everyone can appreciate a nice smooth pinot noir. This bottle was quite enjoyable and loved the red fruit on the nose and mouth.

While we keep shifting in between warm and cool weather. Pinot Noir is a great selection for you to try this fall. If you are looking for more suggestions for fall wine check this post out!

Tasting Notes:

Strong aromas of ripe red fruit with flavors or strawberries, raspberries, and cherries. The tannins are smooth and soft with a clean vanilla finish. Recommended to enjoy now through 2020.

I would grab a bottle of this to enjoy now and one to store I think it would be worth holding on to. The wine opens up nicely and is not too young to be enjoyed right away.
